What a fun Survivor premiere! I’ve already given some of my thoughts on the first two episodes of Survivor Cagayan Brains vs. Beauty vs. Brawn… Could that name BE any longer? Really, though. It’s ridiculous. Anyway, I’ve already talked about the premiere a bit and if you’re reading this, you should definitely be watching the Your Reality Recaps live shows, even if you can only watch the edited, and unedited, versions later. Don’t forget to “like” and subscribe on YoutTube and if you really like the content your seeing, you should help the Kickstarter to send our hosts to Reality Rally, which you can do by following this…

Let’s talk about Survivor! First of all, let’s not kid ourselves. We all know that the next season of Survivor will be known as Survivor: Brains vs. Beauty vs. Brawn, not Survivor: Cagayan. We all know this. Survivor: BBB is way easier to remember, and spell. Now that we’ve got that out of the way… Survivor: Brains vs. Beauty vs. Brawn premieres on Wednesday, February 26th at 8pm eastern, 7pm central on CBS and instead of one hour, we get two! Survivors ready… let’s go! THE BRAINS J’Tia, David, Kassandra (Kass), Latasha (Tasha), Spencer & Garrett  st1\:*{behavior:url(#ieooui) } /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable {mso-style-name:”Table…

The new Amazing Race All-Stars season premieres this Sunday, Sunday, SUNDAY at 8pm eastern, 7pm central. Want to know who will be arguing, aligning and possibly U-Turning each other this year? Let me give you the run down… I don’t think this team needs any introduction. Unless you don’t watch reality TV whatsoever, you know who Brenchel is and if you’re reading this blog, most likely you do watch reality TV (or I’ve “coerced” you into reading it). After a quick skim through their posted bios what caught my eye the most is the fact that Rachel would love to have a “Race Baby”, which sounds offensive, but…

This Week in Nerdvana… We’re just two fingers away from the hand of Midas’ (Zack’s) Bird Flip Attack on the Titans of Rigel; Nicole is gone leaving Katie and Jack alone with Zack, who has become decreasingly less volatile in that last couple of episodes. Now that I can’t rely on Zack for drama, I am ironically finding it more difficult to write this blog*… Meanwhile, in the ladies room, Xander is dominating all bathrooms for all mankind wearing fabulous, fluffy unicorn slippers. (*No I’m not). After another toast to their fallen comrade, all of the contestants, (except Katie, who must…

This week in Nerdvana…  Mary Kate has left the building and the nerds perform a clink drink tribute in her honor. Well, not all the nerds…  Katie admits that the Titans of Rigel have been puppetmastering Midas Touch Attack and hopes that her team can continue to do so. Nicole just hopes that Mary Kate’s exit restores peace in Nerdvana. Huh whaaaaat? Am I watching the same game that you were playing during filming, Nicole? I thought getting rid of Zack was supposed to restore peace in Nerdvana! Was Mary Kate instigating Zack’s behavior? Did I miss something? After a five-fingered version of “I Never”,…

This week in Nerdvana… Everyone is sad that Josh is gone, but the Titans of Rigel know that their cold-blooded, psychological offensive is their best defense to keep their team together. Remember that episode of Eureka where everything Zoe’s bracelet touched turned to gold then deteriorated? Yeah, that’s what happening to Midas Touch Attack right now, but it’s not because of a centuries-old alchemist’s formula… It’s Zack. Zack… Zack… Zack… Dude… You are making this blog a lot more difficult to write. I’m trying to go easy on you because I have a soft spot in my heart for my nerdy brethren, but the intensity level of your…

Well, well, well, King of the Nerds season two cast members. Aren’t you all an entertaining bunch! Conflict, drama, back-stabbing, tequila shots and this is only the second episode. Let’s get right into the action, shall we? Curtis calls all nerds to the courtyard and announces that in the second Nerd War they will be recreating the classic grade school science fair project, the erupting volcano. Each team must construct a volcano and make a presentation in front of three guest judges that will choose the winner based on the accuracy of the science, the chemical reaction and creativity of the presentation. Everything they need is in the “Radio Shack…

Season two of King of the Nerds has begun on TBS and if the first episode is an indication of what we can expect as viewers, fans will not be disappointed by the second installment of this reality competition show. Hosted and executive produced by revenging nerds, Curtis “Booger” Armstrong and Robert “Louis” Carradine, King of the Nerds is a lot like Big Brother; eleven self-proclaimed nerds are chosen to live in house (Nerdvana) to compete for a $100,000 grand prize, the title of “King of the Nerds” and the right to sit upon the “Throne of Games”. This season began in the same nature as…

CBS has made it official! Survivor: Brains vs. Beauty vs. Brawn premieres on February 26th at 8/7 central with a special two hour episode, but the cast has yet to be revealed! Since we have no one to associate with our BBB tribes, I was a little lost on what I could write about for this pre-premiere post. The official release from CBS is four/five paragraphs of the basically the same information and I like to provide my readers with something a little more fun and interesting than THAT. Serendipitously, I was leaving on a road trip to Louisiana with my ex/boyfriend, (long, complicated story), just a…

When the preview for Survivor Blood vs. Water aired during the Caramoan finale last spring it wasn’t difficult to figure out the gist of what this season would be all about. I thought it was brilliant, but then I thought about One World. I thought the concept for One World was brilliant too when it was announced and here’s my issue with it: One camp – really interesting, totally changes the dynamic of the game, but separating men and women – not dynamic enough, while being overly dynamic at the same time. I think One World would have been much better if they had mixed gender tribes from…
