JEFFREY MARX
Reality TV Star From “The Glass House”
Jeffrey has been watching reality TV since MTV’s The Real World debuted his freshman year in high school. Through the years, he has developed a familiar eye with trends in social dynamics and casting, while also having auditioned for way too many shows himself. It wasn’t until he stopped trying to be on a show that a show found him. Jeffrey was one of the final four players in ABC’s The Glass House, where he made out with a sexy layboy model and made a Mormon lady cry. He has always mixed comedy with politics and pop culture. For many years, he was a weekly performer at the Upright Citizen’s Brigade in NYC, dabbled in stand-up, and has acted and directed in theater from his hometown company, The Rude Guerrilla Theatre in Orange County, CA to The Public Theater in NYC and many places in between. Jeffrey has worked in special education as a job coach and summer camp administrator, as well as a receptionist, production assistant, art teacher, barista, guy who hands out flyers in Times Square, and interactive performer at Disneyland. His passions include collecting vinyl records and kitsch, LGBTQ civil rights and grassroots activism, and authentic Mexican food (no, NYC, you do not have authentic Mexican food).
