Thanks, BB producers for the edit you gave Cody and Jessica; it was the one that they deserved.
Cody complains that he and Jessica were blindsided by the vote to keep Christmas in the house. Cody and Jessica EXPLODE after the vote going into the HOH comp. First, as we saw on Thursday, Jessica literally gets in the face of a girl on crutches, calling her a coward. 1. Christmas is continuing to play BB with a broken foot, the first broken bone in BB history, so she is brave. 2. Jessica saying that Christmas told her she was targeting her and Cody is a lie. (Christmas didn’t say that. Jessica told Christmas that she wanted to play a separate game from Cody; and Christmas advised her that she is viewed as being connected to him.) Jessica—what a see you next Tuesday! During the HOH comp, Jessica can be seen knocking balls out of Christmas hands. Jessica says in the DR that it’s literally her and Cody against the rest of the house.
Cody asks Mark if he voted out Christmas, and he tells Cody that he didn’t because the numbers weren’t there. Cody figures that Josh didn’t vote their way; he calls him a bitch and then angrily confronts him. Josh stands up for himself, asking Cody why he is grilling him? Cody is ‘held back’ from fighting Josh by Kevin and Jason.
Back to the HOH, Josh explains that of the 3 ramps, while it looks the hardest, the curved ramp at the right speed is the best route to take to land in the center of the heart. As Elena explains in the DR, everyone from Paul’s side is giving him their tickets so that he can perfect his shot so Paul can get Cody out. Kevin realizes that whoever wins this HOH isn’t going to put him up because so many people are upset with one another right now, so he doesn’t want to win the competition. Paul wins HOH, Cody and Jessica are scowling. Christmas says that when Paul wins HOH, she feels like she won from looking at their angry faces. She’s loving this moment because now they have the power.
Jessica says in DR that Paul winning is absolutely the worst-case scenario. She feels that she had friends in the house, and now she doesn’t know how to move forward in the game. After the HOH comp, Jessica says that she regrets nothing and that she will lie, cheat and backstab. Cody believes it was Kevin, Jason, Alex and Jessica that voted to evict Christmas. Kevin opens the door to the storage room where they are talking, and Kevin tells him that he kept his word. Since Kevin told both nominees, he was keeping them, this is half true. Kevin says that initially he was going to vote to keep Jillian, but Christmas is his friend and cooks him breakfast. Cody is convinced that Ramses voted Jillian out.
Josh tries to be the bigger person and make peace with Cody and Jessica. Cody won’t let him speak. He tells him, “Shut the fuck up!” He complains in DR that Josh makes ‘victim noises.’ We then see Jessica going off on him, calling him a little girl and saying that she has zero respect for him. Cody then goes off on him AGAIN in front of several houseguests, saying that he makes victim noises and cries. Josh says they didn’t speak game to him until Wednesday before eviction. Josh turns the other cheek and says, “I wish you the best in life.” When Josh leaves the room, Raven, Elena, Mark and Dominique all comfort him and tell him that he is on the right side. They tell him that he is not weak, he is smart. They said that Cody and Jessica are hot heads and showed their true colors.
Jessica is crying, making victim noises and is ready to self-evict when Paul says, “Who wants to see my HOH room?” All the houseguests gather to go inside, but Jessica goes to the DR, saying that if they want to put her up and get her out, she doesn’t want to go in the room with all of them. What a bitter, bitter Betty!! How do you like those victim noises, Cody? Meanwhile, Cody stands in the HOH room arms crossed, scowling at Paul while he reads his letter from home. As is customary, everyone claps, except Cody, like the victim that he is.
Paul explains his plan of putting up 2 pawns so that he can backdoor Cody. He floats the idea of Matt and Raven so that 3 of their people will play in the veto, but the team is uncomfortable with the prospect of one of them going home if Cody or Jessica plays in the veto. They’d feel more comfortable with pawns from the other side.
In the Den of Temptation, there are Voodoo Dolls of each of the houseguests. #MerryChristmas as she receives the Ring of Replacement, which allows her to replace any chosen veto player in upcoming weeks. She is also given the opportunity to curse any 3 houseguests of her choosing. She picks Cody, Jessica and Jason, dropping their voodoo dolls in the smoking cauldron. Paul says to everyone else that if Cody and Jessica didn’t get the temptation, his plan will not be soiled and neither will his pants. LOL. Paul is #TeamFunFeeds and he gives amazing DRs. I know we were excited for a newbie season, but thank BB gods that he is back or this season wouldn’t be nearly as entertaining.
Paul reconsiders his plan, and he selects different pawns. He’s been working his social game and has developed good relationships with Alex and Josh. They both want Cody out, and agree to be his pawns, with Josh saying in DR that doing so shows his trust in Paul and will help him get further in the game. At the nomination ceremony. Ramses interrupts Paul and says that he is nominating himself due to his curse. Then Paul reveals his pawn nominees, Josh and Alex.

Voting is now thru Friday for the next Temptation which is the Halting Hex. It will halt an eviction, so choose who receives it wisely. I’m guessing the curse will fall on the whole house with someone coming back into the game.
