Boom goes the dynamite after the POV! Paul and Christmas are pissed, and Paul doesn’t know who he can trust after the lies that Cody told in his POV re-nom speech. Nobody was aware that Cody planned to backdoor Paul. Christmas confronts Cody, and he can’t give her a straight answer for nominating her. They were all supposed to be on the same team. Christmas tells Cody that she has lost all respect for him.
Everyone from his team is shocked and pissed because Cody, as Elena eloquently puts it, threw a grenade into all their games. Many of the original members of Cody’s “team” sat dumbfounded after the veto meeting. Matt says that he can’t move forward working with someone that won’t tell him about their plans. Raven, Elena and Matt immediately say that they will not vote Christmas out.
Jessica is pissed at Paul for not telling them he got the temptation, and is in his face afterwards. He says he kept it to himself to see who he could really trust because he gave them all his trust and loyalty, and got stabbed in the back for it. Paul decides that he is going to play the victim as to why he didn’t tell anyone he took the temptation; he says he didn’t tell so that he could figure out who he could really trust.
At first Mark and Jessica want to remain loyal to Cody and vote Christmas out. Mark was avoiding Christmas, but the original “team” Cody put together splits from him with Dominique, Matt, Elena, Raven and Paul all being firmly in Christmas’s corner. People in the original alliance believe that Mark will vote with them to keep Christmas, but in his DRs, he is saying that he is staying loyal to Cody.
The next day, we see the footage of Christmas breaking her foot, and it is gnarly. Cowboy (Jason) is giving her a piggy back ride and runs into the backyard, slips on the grass and lands on Christmas’s foot. You can hear it crunch. It’s hard to watch, and from the feeds, I can tell you that she literally has the worst possible break in her foot. Multiple bones are broken and there are several fractures. She will have surgery Monday to have pins inserted. She confided this only to Dominique and Paul. She’ll literally be in recovery the rest of the season. Big Brother does a hilarious screenshot of her re-entering the house with #ChristmasBreak.
While Christmas is in the ER, Paul starts working to rally votes to keep her. He campaigns to everyone for her. Josh, Dominique, Elena, Matt, Raven and himself are keeping Christmas. When Mark sees Christmas sitting outside with her leg in a cast, he goes over to her and apologizes for giving her the cold shoulder, and she lets him know how hurt she was the he, Cody and Jessica didn’t show any concern for her well-being when she came back from the ER. Both end up in tears. Mark decides he can’t vote Christmas out after the way he treated her with a cold shoulder.
Time for eviction: Christmas gives a scorched earth speech, calling out Cody and Jessica for stabbing her in the back and playing every single person in the house. Jillian says that she came out of her shell a bit in the last few days. Jillian is thoroughly convinced she is staying, as her lame speech indicates.
•Votes to evict Jillian: Paul, Mark, Matt, Elena, Raven, Dominique, Josh and Kevin
•Votes to evict Christmas: Jessica, Ramses, Jason and Alex
When Julie announces the vote tally, Cody is furious and Jillian is shocked. These pics best tell the story:
After the vote: Jessica gets in Christmas’s face, dropping F Bombs, calling her a coward, that Christmas said she would target Cody and Jessica. Christmas calmly tells her that she never said that and tells her to get out of her face. Kevin and Josh break them apart while Paul warns Jessica that she is on live TV dropping F-Bombs. Classy.
The theme of the HOH comp is based on Candy Crush and is called Sugar Shot. They must roll a ball on one of 3 ramps. To get balls, they must find tickets inside of balls that are being dropped on them. They can take up to three turns each time they turn in their tickets. The houseguest can roll balls down 1 of 3 ramps into center of a heart in the middle of the Candy Crush logo. The rest of the HOH comp is shown on the feeds.
